Afew steps from the famous Placita de Santurce opened Asere, Cuban Kitchen Bar, a restaurant with a traditional Cuban menu and ambiance that promises fun, good food and cocktails.

Asere is 100% Cuban. The menu is traditional Cuban Food taking the best influences of the Spanish, African, French and flavors of the Caribbean led by Chef Juan Camacho.

The old Spanish architecture gives life to a two-story building designed in detail to let live the experience of visiting the legendary Cuba of the 1950s and the clandestine world of the underground cuisine.

The first floor brings the elegance of the ‘style’ of the 50s in Cuba and on the second floor delves into “La Carniceria”, the ‘clandestine’ area to enjoy a good selection of cocktails, great music, atmosphere and cuisine.

Some of the traditional dishes are the Ropa Vieja, Pollo Ahumado, Chillo ‘aplatanao’, a wide variety of appetizers, entrees, homemade desserts and, when in season, the famous Frog Legs, traditional delicacy cuisine in Cuba.

Craft drinks will allow you to enjoy the magic of the Cuban cocktails created with passion, fresh ingredients and details of Cuban mixtures. The ‘signature’ cocktail is the Habanero Mojito with Rum Bacardi.

Asere means in Cuban slang, “my friend”. Asere, we are waiting for you at La Placita de Santurce!
